Columbus Technical College and Georgia Quick Start will provide training to Aflac's new hires in its customer service center as well as its claims and policy service departments.
This is Aflac's second training partnership with Quick Start, a state economic development program that provides free customized workforce training to businesses.
The three organizations signed the training agreement last week. Quick Start will design and develop training materials and provide class instructors. After Quick Start training, Columbus Tech will provide Aflac ongoing training programs.
"Columbus Technical College and Quick Start have worked with us in the past to offer our employees excellent training classes," Audrey Tillman, Aflac executive vice president of corporate services, said in a statement. "We are looking forward to working with them on new programs as Aflac continues to expand."
