The 20th annual Auburn University pumpkin carve is Oct. 31.
Students from Auburn's College of Architecture, Design and Construction will light up the courtyard of Dudley Hall with the glow of more than 400 jack-o-lanterns.
The event, sponsored by the Auburn University Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students, will begin at 9 a.m. with the carving of the pumpkins. Uncarved pumpkins will be on sale for $4.
At noon, hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will be on sale and the student costume contest will be held.
The carved pumpkins will be lighted at 6 p.m. with judging at 6:30 p.m. and awards at 7 p.m. Carved pumpkins will be for sale.
The public is invited to do some carving between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. There will be music, games and a children's costume contest.
