Pop megastar Usher is looking for an aspiring teen-aged filmmaker to direct a music video for a song from his new album, which comes out next year.
"It gives me another way to give back, inspire young people and also reinvent music videos," the Grammy winner said in a statement.
Teenagers ages 13-18 can apply at Got-Noise.com through Jan. 31.
In March, 20 finalists will be flown to Los Angeles, where they will work in two teams with Usher. Both teams will discuss the concept and direction of the video.
Never miss a local story.
The two finished videos will make their debuts in April and fans will vote for their favorite.
Winners of the contest, sponsored by Body by Milk, receive Usher concert tickets, Apple laptops and editing software.
