Underground Atlanta, 50 Upper Alabama St., has announced the music acts for the 20th annual Peach Drop New Year's Eve Celebration on Dec. 31.
The headliner is Julianne Hough, the ballroom dancer-turned-country-singer. Hosts are WXIA's chief meteorologist Paul Ossmann and country singer rissi Palmer. The roving reporter is griff, an Atlanta comedian and radio personality.
Hough, having recently topped both the country and Top 200 charts with her self-titled album, as well as with the infectious debut single “That Song In My Head”, will help Atlanta ring in 2009 along with performers like Collective Efforts, Heaven Davis, Soul Stash and Brantley Gilbert . Live music starts at noon and will continue throughout the night.
The Main Stage includes Collective Efforts, 6 p.m.; Heaven Davis, 7:15 p.m.; Soul Stash, 8:30 p.m.; Brantley Gilbert, 9:45 p.m.; Julianne Hough, 11 p.m.
