Local small business owners are invited to sign up for entrepreneur development program FastTrac Growth Venture.
The program, which targets established and growing small businesses, will give participants in-depth information on strategic planning, marketing research, business management and financial statement analysis.
“As small businesses grow, they face increasingly tougher issues,” Mark Lupo, FastTrac facilitator and consultant with The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, said in a statement. “FastTrac provides a forum for them to share their challenges as well as best practices with other business owners. There’s nothing quite like a room full of energized entrepreneurs who are discussing how they’re growing their businesses.”
Held at the Cunningham Center for Leadership Development, the program begins January 30 and will continue every Friday until March 27.
More than 30,000 businesses in 36 states and three foreign countries have worked with FastTrac. FastTrac is being brought to Columbus by the SBDC and The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce.
The program’s cost is $895. Discounts are available for multiple attendees from the same business. For more information, call 706-569-2651 or visit www.columbussbdc.org.
