About 20 adults and youngsters gathered in South Columbus Saturday morning to campaign against neighborhood crime.
The Winterfield On the Move Against Drugs group held homemade signs and waved to passing traffic at the intersection where Brown Avenue, Cussetta Road, 21st Avenue and Andrews Road come together. Their efforts were acknowledged by honking horns and drivers calling out in support of the demonstrators.
"I really enjoy the cause," said Charles Heath, who lives nearby. "I hope it makes a difference."
