Tonight's TV schedule is full of laughs. Some, remarkably, are even intentional.
The lineup's highlight is the season premiere of "Last Comic Standing" (9 p.m., NBC). It's a reality competition to find the best stand-up comic. Tonight, you'll get the audition rounds, which are often more amusing than watching the actual pros.
Reality TV addicts can also look forward to a reality-packed night on ABC. Get your fix of bad impersonators on "The Next Best Thing" at 8 p.m., followed by "American Inventor" at 9 p.m.
Still hungry for weepy testimonials and incoherent judge feedback? Turn to Fox, where you'll get a whopping two hours of "So You Think You Can Dance." The action kicks off at 8 p.m. If I see at least one rendition of the running man, I'll go to bed happy.
