Joanna Pacitti, the former "American Idol" contender who attracted public scrutiny for her professional past, has been disqualified from the show's top 36 singers. She'll be replaced by Felicia Barton.
Pacitti was announced as a semifinalist on Wednesday night's show, but now the official "American Idol" Web site lists her as ineligible.
Pacitti had a former record deal with A&M/Geffen, and has appeared on soundtracks to movies like "Legally Blond." Her debut disc sold more than 16,000 copies, Billboard reports.
