Employers that do business with the federal government are invited to a seminar about complying with non-discrimination laws and regulations.
The event, hosted by the Georgia Department of Labor Columbus Employer Committee and Strategic HR Partners, will be held Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Columbus Technical College’s library building, room 600.
Staffers from the Atlanta Office of Federal Contractor Compliance — which is part of the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration — will inform attendees about affirmative action plans, recordkeeping requirements and the do’s and don’ts of a compliance audit.
