The Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine will host its 32nd annual open house on April 18.
It will be 8:30 A.M. to 2 p.m. CDT at its campus on Wire Road.
The free public event will feature college tours, scientific displays, a dog agility course, sheep-herding dogs, Teddy Bear surgery, birds of prey from the Southeastern Raptor School and more.
High school and college students can talk to counselors.
There will be a scavenger hunt for the young children.
Boy Scouts will have an opportunity to work on veterinary medicine and dog care merit badges.
The veterinary program at Auburn University, continuous since 1892, is the oldest in the south and the seventh oldest in the country.
