Sunday night's storm caused some minor landscaping damage at the main library on Macon Road, but the building was unscathed, according to Claudya Muller, director of the Chattahoochee Valley Regional Library System.
Several small trees were uprooted on the library grounds, but crews should be able to upright them, Muller said.
Debris from the Muscogee County School District administration building, under construction next door, had blown off that site and onto the library's property. Crews from the construction site were cleaning up the debris this morning.
The administration building appeared to have escaped damage. The metal roof appeared to be intact and the scaffolding around the building was still up.
Never miss a local story.
Plastic sheeting that had covered windows and some insulation had blown off the building, but the structure appeared undamaged.
