This weekend the Governor's Office of Highway Safety kicked-off its first ever Georgia Motorcycle Awareness Tour, consisting of a six-day ride through the state to promote motorcycle safety.
Law enforcement from counties across Georgia, including Muscogee County, have teamed up with motorcycle enthusiasts to spread the message that the road must be shared by all motorists.
The tour started Saturday and will go through Thursday, April 30. It came to Columbus today at 10 a.m. The next stop will be Albany.
