Four teenagers told Columbus police they were robbed at gunpoint at Lakebottom Park Friday.
The young men, ages 15 to 17, said the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the 1500 block of Cherokee Avenue, near the intersection of Poplar Drive, according to police reports.
A small silver pistol was used in the robbery, but no one was injured.
The two robbers were described as black and between the ages of 16 and 17. One was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He had braids and was wearing a white tank top and blue shorts. The other was described as 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He had flat hair and was also wearing a white tank top and blue shorts.
Police are investigating.
