According to the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP), Georgia's Teen Pregnancy Rate has increased for two straight years.
Georgia's rate of 67 pregnancies per 1,000 girls aged 15-19 ranks 10th highest in the nation.
On Wednesday, in conjunction with the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, G-CAPP is launching an online fund raising campaign.
G-CAPP's fund raising initiative revolves around a new Web site www.gpower2009.org. The gpower site allows donors to give amounts ranging from $1 to $1,500. Supporters can upload photos, videos and messages.
