Members of government, nonprofit organizations and the business community are invited to a summit for threat preparedness and response.
The summit, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, is presented by the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and the Columbus office of Homeland Security.
Attendees will learn of new techniques and ideas related to threat preparedness from national and international leaders.
The event will be held at the Cunningham Center for Leadership Development, 3100 Gentian Blvd. in Columbus.
For the first day of the summit, it's $150 if you register by May 31. It's $199 after. For the second day, it's $75 by May 31 and $99 after.
