The Columbus Water Works board of commissioners is scheduled to meet today at 1:30 p.m. at the utility's Veterans Parkway office.
The five-member Water Works board is expected to get information on the 6,000-gallon water storage tank that failed two weeks ago. The tank failure sent a flood of water on J.R. Allen Parkway and into the parking lot of the Lake Oliver Marina. The marina and power transmission lines were damaged in the deluge.
