The 4th Ranger Training Battalion, Ranger Training Brigade is getting a new commander.
Lt. Col. Jeremy B. Miller will assume command of 4th RTB from Lt. Col. Sean F. Mullen during a change of command ceremony at 8 a.m. May 15 at the Ranger Memorial on Main Post near York Field.
Miller is a 1992 graduate of West Virginia University. His last assignment at Fort Benning was as a platoon leader with the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.
His most recent assignment was at the Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, N.C. While he was assigned to the JSOC, he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Miller’s awards include a Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, Combat Infantryman Badge, Ranger Tab, Military Free-Fall Parachutist Badge and Air Assault Badge.
He and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of two children.
Mullen has been reassigned to Fort Carson, Colo., where he will serve as a deputy brigade commander with the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
