The Institute of Athletic Health Care and Research, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Hughston Foundation, will be providing sport Pre-Participation Screening Evalutations (PPSE) Saturday at Shaw High School.
The evaluation will cost $7 per athlete.
Four dollars from each exam will be placed into an account for the assigned school athletic programs to provide athletics, healthcare equipment and supplies.
All athletes or prospective student athletes must be dressed in shorts, t-shirts, socks and tennis shoes.
This will be the only PPSE session for the 2009-2010 school year.
Shaw athletes will be at 8 a.m., Northside and Grace Christian at 8:30 a.m., Jordan, Glenwood and Calvary Christian at 9 a.m., Hardaway and Manchester at 9:30 a.m., Spencer and Chattahoochee County at 10 a.m., Central Talbotton and Smiths Station at 10:30 a.m., Kendrick, Webster County and Stewart Quitman at 10:45 a.m., Columbus High at 11:15 A.M., Carver and South Girard at 11:45 a.m., Russell County and Taylor County at 12:15 p.m., Terrell County, Harris County and Tri-County at 12:30 p.m. and Central Phenix City at 12:45 p.m.
