When forced to eliminate four guys from dating reality show "The Bachelorette," Jillian Harris said she was lucky to have the smartest, funniest most charismatic guys that had graced the ABC show.
Jillian, who appeared on the most recent season of "The Bachelor" with Jason Mesnick, gave roses to the 16 men she wanted to keep on the show:
Jesse, a 27-year-old wine maker from California
David, a 27-year-old trucking contractor from Ohio who received last week's first-impression rose
Never miss a local story.
Ed, a 29-year-old self-proclaimed optimist and technology consultant from Chicago
Sasha, a 27-year-old Texas oil man
Mark, a 26-year-old pizza shop owner
Michael, a 25-year-old New York break-dancing instructor

Brad, a 27-year-old from Chicago
Mike, a 28-year-old New York baseball camp owner
Jake, a 31-year-old pilot from Dallas
Wes, a 32-year-old musician from Texas
Juan, a 35-year-old California contractor who's originally from Argentina
The following men were eliminated:
Mathue, a 26-year-old personal trainer from Kansas
Simon, a 26-year-old Baltimore soccer coach, is originally from Yorkshire, England.
Brian, a 32-year-old IT consultant from Atlanta, who jumped in the pool naked at the cocktail party before the rose ceremony. "I guess she didn't like what she saw," he joked.
Julien, a 34-year-old restaurant owner from San Diego
Here's a recap of the show:At the cocktail party before the rose ceremony, tensions rose when the guys were asked to vote for the guy they most wanted to leave the show. Because they already had roses Mike, Wes and Jake were excluded from the vote. Juan was the person voted out, but Jillian had veto power and gave him a rose. David and Julien received the second and third most votes.
Jillian hosted a pool party for her first group date with eight of her suitors. The swimming didn't last long, though. Jillian left the party early to lead the guys on an "Amazing Race" style scavenger hunt. Teams of two drove through Los Angeles picking up clues to find Jillian. Wes and Brad were the first to arrive at Jillian's destination. Jillian chose to have a private dinner with Wes, though it was Brad's driving and navigation skills that led the team to finish first.
Jillian picked Jake for the first one-on-one date of the show. She and Jake danced while Martina McBride sang in a private show at the House of Blues. The second group date was a basketball game with the Harlem Globetrotters. Juan dropped Jillian on the court at one point but then redeemed himself when he helped her after the Globetrotters left Jillian hanging on the basketball net. The famous ball players chose David as the guy they liked best for Jillian. After the game, the group went to the beach where Mike stripped down to a speedo and ran into the ocean. His spontaneous move earned him a rose.
Sent home last week were:
Bryan, a 28-year-old Dallas high school teacher and coach who didn't just say he wanted to sweep Jillian off her feet, he picked her up
John P. from Indiana who liked that she called herself a "polished hick"
John H., from Idaho, confessed he was only on the show because Jillian was chosen as the Bachelorette
Kyle, a 26-year-old graphic artist from New York

Stephen, a 30-year-old New York lawyer
Caleb, a 27-year-old from Nashville
Josh, a 25-year-old lifeguard from California
Greg, a 31-year-old entrepreneur from Arizona, who marries couples in his free time
Bryce, a 31-year-old furniture dealer from Florida
