If you ever dreamed of owning your own home, that question and more can be answered at the Seventh Annual Housing Summit in Columbus.
The first event will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road, and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army Lovick P. Corn Community Center, 5201 Warm Springs Road.
The events are sponsored by the city of Columbus, United Way and other community agencies.
The summit will offer free information on how to become a homeowner, the benefits of owning a home and tax credits available to first time home buyers. Information also will be available on credit counseling, maintaining your credit and how to prevent foreclosure.
