"The Bachelorette" Jillian Harris eliminated Mike, a 28-year-old New York baseball camp owner; Juan, a 35-year-old California contractor who's originally from Argentina; and David, a 27-year-old trucking contractor from Ohio, from ABC's reality dating show.
"I didn't see this coming at all. I was totally open with Jillian and we had a lot in common... I think this whole experience has made me more determined to find a wife, a friend forever, for sure." Juan said.
"I don't know what Jillian was missing with me that she had with some of the other people... I think she made two mistakes tonight — not telling us who said what and letting me go," David said. David received the first-impression rose at the first cocktail party.
The rose ceremony was tense when Jillian announced that she'd been told that some guys "weren't on the show for the right reasons," and that someone had a girlfriend. No one stepped forward when Jillian asked if anyone was in a relationship.

Here's a recap of Monday's show:
The show began with an announcement that Jillian and her 13 suitors would fly to Jillian's hometown, Vancouver.
Kiptyn had the first one-on-one date. He and Jillian went kayaking, shopped at a market and made dinner together at Jillian's home. Jillian said she wanted to create a date that was like what she'd do with her boyfriend in real life. Kiptyn passed her real-life test. He received the first rose of the evening.
Jillian took 10 guys curling for the group date. After a few minutes of practice, the guys were split into two teams to compete in a curling game. The winning team's prize was an evening date with Jillian. Jesse's performance gave the red team the victory. Jesse, David, Jake, Juan, Robby and Jillian went on a dinner cruise where Jillian spent some one-on-one time with some of the guys. After chatting with Jake, Jillian said she was worried that Jake was "too perfect." David complimented Jillian's butt in spandex and went in for a kiss. It may not have been the best strategy. Jillian turned away from the kiss. "I just feel like he doesn't respect me," Jillian said. Her talk with Jesse seemed to go the best. He got a rose at the end of the evening.
The two-on-one date was with Mark and Mike. One had to go home. The night started with a helicopter ride and continued with dinner. While Mike held Jillian's hand during the helicopter ride and guided the dinner conversation, Mark seemed more guarded and awkward. "I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to relationships," Mark said. He struggled to open up, though he said he didn't want to go home. Mike said he was falling in love. "I will make you happy," Mike said. When Jillian was concerned about the time limit on the evening, Mark said she needed to worry more about herself. "This is the time for you to be selfish," Mark said.Maybe that's exactly what she needed to hear. Mark got the rose, and Mike was sent away. "It was such a shock... I just don't get it." Mike said. "I thought we had such a connection. I was looking forward to bringing Jillian home to New York and meeting my family. But I guess I was wrong," Mike said.
In conversations with Tanner and Jake at the cocktail party, Jillian became concerned that some of the guys weren't on the show for the right reasons. Jillian put an end to the cocktail party saying she need some time to figure out if there was any truth to the rumor that some of the guys had girlfriends. Tanner said at least one guy had a girlfriend.
