June 30 will be the last day that recycling will be accepted at Goodwill Industries.
Beginning July 1, Muscogee County residents will have to take their glass, plastic and newspaper to the city's facility at #25 22nd Avenue.
Goodwill made the decision in 2008 not to renew its contract with the city.
Goodwill's recycling facility located at 515 10th Avenue is currently on the market for lease or sale.
Never miss a local story.
All six of Goodwill's recycling employees will be transitioned into other positions within the company.
