Local employers are invited to learn about going green during tough economic times at a free training seminar Wednesday, July 22.
The Clean Air Campaign will host the event, which will feature experts from the Georgia Department of Transportation, Trees Columbus, Keep Columbus Beautiful, Air Quality Alliance of the Chattahoochee Valley and more. They'll talk about how businesses can make their operations more environmentally friendly while improving their bottom lines.
It's from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Columbus Public Library's Synovus Room, 3000 Macon Road.
