Rabbi Jeffrey K. Salkin, the temporary part-time rabbi at Temple Israel in Columbus, will continue his class, "Jewish Spiritual Journeys," on Sunday.
The class meets 9:30-10:30 a.m., every other week, 1617 Wildwood Ave.
Questions to be explored include: What does holiness mean in Judaism? What is spirituality? What can God mean to modern people? "Spirituality is the current buzzword in religious circles and in American life," Rabbi Salkin has said. "But what does it really mean? I am looking forward to helping everyone figure that out."
Salkin commutes to Columbus every other week from Atlanta. He also leads services on Friday nights and Saturday mornings.
The next few dates for the class are: Sept. 6, Sept. 20 and Oct. 4.
