The Lee County Historical Society meets on the second Saturday of each month. A group of history reenactors in period clothing meet at the Lee County Historical Society Museum to demonstrate arts and crafts.
Crafts people, including blacksmiths, spinners and weavers, and others are on the grounds of the museum. The Whistle Stop Pickers dulcimer group meets at the museum at 1 pm. The Museum is always open on Second Saturdays.
This month's meeting on Sept. 12 is old-fashioned story telling.
The museum is 6500 Stage Road on Ala. 14.
Never miss a local story.
