Columbus police are investigating four business burglaries that occurred early this morning.
The first took place at Roman Medical Group, 2737 Warm Springs Road, at 1:47 a.m. A suspect or suspects smashed the business's east window with a large rock, a police report said. Nothing was listed as taken.
Hooters restaurant, 2650 Adams Farm Drive, was victimized next. According to police, at 2:20 a.m. someone threw a brick through the glass door, causing about $500 in property damage. A police report states that items were stolen from the restaurant, however, none were listed.
Someone smashed the east window of Farmer Home Furniture, 5367 Veterans Parkway, with a piece of concrete shortly after 3 a.m., police said. Nothing was reported stolen.
The last burglary of the morning occurred at 4:10 a.m. at the Citgo Food Mart, 2362 South Lumpkin Road. A suspect smashed the west front window with an unknown object and stole cartons of cigarettes and beer from the business.
