Entrepreneurs who have small businesses less than three years old are invited to join the FastTrac NewVenture program.
The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce will present the program, which will teach participants about the strategic planning process, marketing research, cash flow statement analysis and more.
It begins Oct. 8 and runs almost every Thursday through Dec. 10 at the Cunningham Center for Leadership Development, 3100 Gentian Boulevard in Columbus.
Participants pay $495, but the first 20 business owners who qualify will receive $300 scholarships, courtesy of the program's statewide sponsor, Wachovia/Wells Fargo.
Founded in 1992, FastTrac has trained thousands in the U.S. More than 30,000 businesses in 36 states and three foreign countries have gone through FastTrac courses.
