Members of Lee County's master gardeners will lead guided tours of Auburn University's Donald E. Davis Arboretum on second Fridays and Saturdays of each month until the end of the year.
The next tours will be Oct. 9 and 10. Time for the one-hour tours is 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
The arboretum is on Garden Drive, just west of South College Street.
Those taking the tour will learn about Alabama's trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants as well as landscaping techniques focusing on water conservation that work with processes of nature.
They will see small recreations of ecosystems found in Alabama from the Appalachian Mountains to the Gulf of Mexico.
