The ticket deadline is today for the Sound Choices Gala on Oct. 20. It is the benefit for Sound Choices, offering abortion clinic alternatives and a pregnancy clinic. It's located on Wynnton Road.
The event is 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center, 801 Front Ave.
The speaker is Star Parker, the founder and president of CURE, the Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides national dialogue on issues of race and poverty in the media, inner city neighborhoods and public policy, according to her biographical information.
