A Buena Vista man was robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon, according to Columbus police.
The 33-year-old man was in a car in the parking lot of Cross Creek apartments on Steam Mill Road at around 5:30 p.m., when another man approached him, according to a police report.
The suspect pushed a pistol to the man’s head and took $600 from him, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man, between 23 and 25 years old, standing between five feet ten inches and six feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He had dreadlocks and was known to the victim as “Carlos Moore.” He was wearing a red shirt, dark jeans and red and black tennis shoes with a snakeskin pattern.
The case remains under investigation.
