The annual non-denominational German-American Christmas service sponsored by Klub Heimatland will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4026 Macon Road. The Rev. Larry Barksdale, the pastor, will deliver the message.
The sermon will be in English.
A reception with German foods will follow.
The club was established in 1974 through the church by a group of German-born women. The first service was held two years later. The club is active in support of the Ronald McDonald House, the Battered Women's Shelter and Camp Joy in Hamilton.
