The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Jim Woodruff Jr. Memorial Award.
The award, which represents the Hall of Fame of Columbus leadership, is given each year to an exceptional community leader who has achieved major accomplishments in his or her personal and professional life. Nominees are evaluated in the areas of religious life and community service as well.
Past recipients include D.A. Turner, Judge Aaron Cohn, Sara Spano, William B. Turner, Bill Heard Jr., John B. Amos, Gunby Jorden, Rozier Dewylder, Marvin R. Schuster and James Blanchard. Last year, Paul S. Amos won the award.
