Columbus State University is accepting nominations for the John Townsend Achievement Award.
Townsend was the first African-American to enroll at CSU.
The award will go to someone of high moral character who has made a positive, noteworthy contribution to the community or achieved distinction for outstanding professional or personal service.
Nominations must be in by Jan. 29.
