Columbus police are searching for a woman they say stabbed another woman multiple times in the head on Christmas Day with a gardening tool.
A warrant for aggravated assault has been taken out on Brandyce Andrea Johnson, 25, of 2611 Thomas Street, Columbus, for the Dec. 25 stabbing that occurred about 9 a.m. at an apartment complex on 17th Avenue.
The victim, a 25-year-old resident of the complex, was treated at The Medical Center and later released. Police have yet to locate Johnson, who authorities say is a 4-foot-9 black woman that weighs about 120 pounds.
According to a police document, Johnson has brown eyes and neck-length red or auburn hair. Her occupation is listed as a hair stylist and nail tech and she has two tattoos; one on her upper left arm reads “Tyshain,” and the other one, which is located on her back, says “Scandalous.”
