Columbus police have arrested a man suspected of robbing another man at knifepoint Wednesday evening.
Tyronne McCree, 38, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and filing a false police report.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred at around 5:30 p.m. at a residence on 32nd Street. According to a police report, McCree was on the porch with a resident of the house, a 31-year-old man. McCree pulled a knife on the man and allegedly took a silver chain and cross, valued at $127.
He was arrested and booked into the Muscogee County jail.
