A Columbus man died Monday afternoon in a wreck when his vehicle veered off Armour Road and into the parking lot of a book store, officials said.
James Greimmette, 69, was driving around Armour Road near Manchester Expressway when the wreck occurred, said Muscogee County Coroner Bill Thrower.
“He did leave the roadway, and he entered the parking lot of the Book House on Armour Road,” the coroner added.
Greimmette was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m., Thrower said. The cause of death is blunt force trauma complicating natural disease process, he added.
Never miss a local story.
“He had some type of natural problem,” Thrower said. “The blunt force trauma somehow complicated his natural problem.”
