Columbus Regional Healthcare System and the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries are collaborating to present the health information series called “Knowledge is Power.” The series was designed for the general public, and will feature local and regional experts discussing a diverse range of health issues.
The first of the three programs, “What Women Want to Know,” will begin at 6 p.m. Friday in the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road. Serena Tidwell, a local obstetrician and gynecologist, will talk about health topics that affect women of all ages. Participants can also ask her about specific health concerns.
Stacy Varner, Tidwell's executive chef and director of nutrition services at Doctors Hospital, will share recipes that can be used all year.
Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Never miss a local story.
