Famous potty-mouthed British chef Gordon Ramsey and the producers of "The Biggest Loser" are casting amateur cooks for "MasterChef," a new Fox cooking show.
The show is for cooks who have never been formally trained. The producers are looking for budding chefs from all walks of life -- amateurs, foodies, dinner party host/hostess.
The producers will not consider professional chefs who work in professional kitchesn.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and either be a U.S. citizen or be a permanent legal resident with the unrestricted ability to work in the U.S.
Never miss a local story.
All casting call applicants must bring one prepared dish to be served at room temperature. You will be given the opportunity to plate your dish at the casting location, but you have to bring everything you need to do so.
The casting call is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in Atlanta's Viking Cooking School, 1745 Peachtree Road N.E.
