Six Flags Over Georgia holds its annual job fair for the 2010 season, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the theme park, 275 Riverside Parkway S.W. in Austell, off Interstate 20 in Atlanta.
The largest regional theme park in the Southeast is looking fill 1,300 mostly seasonal positions.
Six Flags is the sixth largest employer in Cobb County. Applicants must be 16 years old and older and must apply online before going to the park on Saturday.
The job fair is open to everyone -- those looking for second jobs, stay-at-home parents, retirees, teachers and students. Operating hours are designed to fit many schools' schedules.
Jobs include positions in food service, games, human resources, loss prevention, merchandising, park services, ride operations, lifeguards, security officers, ticket services and toll booth attendants.
In case of inclement weather, the job fair will be rescheduled for Jan. 23.
Six Flags opens for the season on March 6.
