Gymnasts from Auburn University and the University of Oklahoma will both wear pink leotards at their meet tonight to show support for the fight against cancer.
The meet between No. 9 ranked Auburn and No. 2 ranked Oklahoma will begin at 7 p.m. Central. "Flip for the Cure" t-shirts will be on sale for $10 with the proceeds going to the East Alabama Medical Center. Anyone wearing one of the shirts will have free admission to the meet.
Donations will be accepted throughout the meet.
"We're really excited for this Friday's meet for two reasons," said Auburn coach Jeff Thompson. "The first is our fans being able to see one of the top programs in the country. Secondly, this is a great opportunity for us to raise money for cancer research."
