“MidTown: A Community with a Mission” will be the subject of a taping Thursday of the local show "Unity With Pam."
It will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Columbus Museum, 1251 Wynnton Road.
The event will include lunch and a benefit for Habitat for Humanity.
Attendees will include: Pam Wills-Hovey of "Unity With Pam"; Move of God Ministries Pastor Will A. Willis, Jr.; MidTown, Inc. Executive Director and mayoral candidate Teresa Tomlinson; Columbus Museum Director Tom Butler; Muscogee County School District Superintendent Susan Andrews; MidTown, Inc. Director of Community Affairs Judith Tucker; and Aflac employee and MidTown Business Association member Jacqueline Egins.
“MidTown: A Community with a Mission” is requesting donated items for Habitat for Humanity to be delivered during the program. For a list of the needed items, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. This event is free and open to the general public, though donations for both Habitat for Humanity and the luncheon are suggested.
Unity with Pam is a Christian outreach show hosted by Pam Willis-Hovey airing on WYBU TV16 out of Columbu and online. The show covers topics including health, business education, food and fashion.
