A Columbus woman told police Friday she found a peeping tom hiding outside of her Edgewood area home.
The 28-year-old woman told police that she was at her home near the intersection of Macon Road and University Avenue that evening. Around 7:30 p.m., she went out her front door and found a man hiding in the bushes. The man then fled.
The victim told police she checked the area where the suspect had been. She said she found bricks that were stacked up like stairs in front of the window of her bedroom, where she had just been.
The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build, between the ages of 29 and 39 and standing about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He is bald on the top of his head and has light colored hair on the sides. He wore blue jeans and a dark long-sleeved shirt.
