A 15-year-old Columbus boy allegedly set fire to a Lake Rushin Drive bedroom and resisted an officer Saturday afternoon, police said.
Officers were called to the home around 5:20 p.m. about a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they heard that the boy had set a fire in a bedroom and broken a bedroom window with a brick, reports state.
About $100 in damage was done, police said.
Officers also learned that the 15 year old hadn’t been to school all week, reports state.

Police found the boy in the home’s backyard holding a brick in his right hand. An officer asked him three times to drop it before he obeyed, reports show.
When an officer took him by the arm, he resisted and was then handcuffed, police said.
