A broken water main at Whisperwood Apartments off Flat Rock Road has left the Columbus residents without water.
A Whisperwood official wouldn’t comment other than to state crews are working on a water main which broke Monday.
The upscale complex is located off Flat Rock Road in northeast Columbus. It offers one to three bedrooms with swimming, tennis and other amenities.
Jim Patterson, vice president of communications for the Columbus Water Works, said all the lines, both the water main and fire hydrants are controlled by Whisperwood. “We will help them any way we can,” Patterson said. “They will have to find where the broken pipe is.”
Officials at the complex wouldn’t specify when water service might be restored.
