An 88-year-old woman was robbed in her home over the weekend, Columbus police said.
The woman was in a bedroom of her Melrose Drive home around 8:30 a.m. Saturday when a man entered, grabbed her hair and demanded cash, reports state.
According to police, a cement block was used to gain entry to the home through a sliding glass door. About $800 in damage was done. The suspect got $20 in cash from the home. He’s described as a black man, 20 to 25 years old and 5-foot-8 to 6-foot. He was wearing a brown coat.
