The next couple of days will bring rain to the Chattahoochee Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
There's about a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. today. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a high near 65. Tonight, showers will soak the area, while lows linger around 55. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.
More rain will fall Thursday and highs will be in the upper 60s. The area could experience a thunderstorm and wind gusts as high as 25 mph. The low Thursday night will hit 48 degrees while the chance of showers and thunderstorms drops to 20 percent before 1 a.m.
Friday will bring mostly sunny skies, with a high near 65. Friday night will bring partly cloudy skies, with a low around 40.
