Irish visual artist Mark Clare, who is the Columbus State University department of art's Visiting Resident Artist this semester, is creating an art project.
And he needs you.
Clare's project, "Utopian Socialism," will explore America's relationship with the current trends of modern socialist thoughts. Columbus area people are invited to share their thoughts and views on socialism. He will produce a combination of audio, photographic and video interviews.
Clare will then go back to his studio in Dublin and work on this project. In the fall, he'll return to exhibit the project in the Illges Gallery.
Clare will be in the lobby of the Rankin Arts Center, 1004 Broadway, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 12 to interview people.
If you want to take part, call Clare in Hannah Israel's office at 706-507-8312.
