Couple-to-Couple Marriage Mentoring (CCMM) is Feb. 26-27 at the Pastoral Institute (Community Room), 2022 15th Ave.
Participants will be equipped to: --Be a mentor couple --Build and lead a marriage mentoring ministry Leaders who want to start a marriage mentoring ministry in their congregation or community organization are invited.
Cost is $100 per couple, which includes breakfast, lunch and all training materials.
Training materials include: CCMM training manual CD with tools including the smart database "Can You Hear Me Now?" by Dallas Demmitt, Ph.D. and Nancy Demmitt, MC "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend The schedule is 7-9 p.m. Feb. 26 (leadership meeting for individuals/couples who will lead the marriage mentor ministry at their organization); and 8-9 a.m. registration/breakfast Feb. 27; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 27 training for mentor couples.
The facilitators are Eric and Jennifer Garcia, lay leaders in marriage ministry for the last seven years. They are co-founders of the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries (AMFM).
