A hearing in the capital murder case of Courtney Lockhart is scheduled for next week.
Lockhart, charged in the March 4, 2008, slaying of 18-year-old Lauren Burk, is scheduled to appear before Lee County Circuit Court Judge Jacob Walker III on Feb. 26, said District Attorney Nick Abbett.
The purpose of the hearing is to determine if the trial should be moved to a different county, or a change of venue, the prosecutor said.
Lockhart, who was 23 when Burk died, has pleaded not guilty.
