A Phenix City woman is dead after a Saturday night house fire, authorities said.
Patrissa Lynn Black, 39, died in the fire at her 1812 Sixth Court home, said Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr.
“We do know that she was burned in the fire,” Sumbry added.
The cause of the death, however, won’t be determined until an autopsy is performed, the coroner said.
The fire at the home happened around 11 p.m. Black was pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m. Sunday, Sumbry said.
Phenix City police are investigating the blaze.
